“Yoga” means to yoke and is the practice of combining breath and movement. In this class we will focus on improving flexibility, building strength, and surrendering into stillness at ithe pace of our breath. This hour long practice is for all levels of practitioners from new to advanced and will combine both long holding and flowing sequences. Benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, strength in underused areas of the body, body/breath awareness and stress management/relaxation. Bring yourself, bring a friend and a mat if you have one. This class will run from 7-8 p.m. on Thursdays for $10 drop-ins or a 10 class card at $90. No previous yoga experience necessary!

    Yoga with Nancy was great! She is really knowledgeable and helped me work on my tightest muscles. Already have a bunch of stretches and tips I’m going to try at home.

    I’ll be back for yoga next week, for sure. Hope to see some of you there!

  • Glad you enjoyed it Brigette… next week will be a more typical class with poses, etc. Hopefully your ankle will be better. We’ll focus on hips and hamstrings, no upper body stuff.
